I tried this card a few times and it feels absolutely bonkers. Necrobinder has an insane amount of big attacks that pair well with it. Thing is that at cost 1 even just upping a few normal attacks and unleash is decent, especially as it works the same turn you play it.

They also stack so getting +150% or +225% is doable. I can imagine that higher ascensions will be less forgiving towards high cost attacks so pairing with osty is probably a good idea for defense.

I had this in one of my runs, upgraded, and with Swift added (The first time you play this card, draw 2 cards), paired with a Reap (3 energy cost; 27 damage; Retain), but I had put Corrupted on it (50% more damage, but lose 2HP) for 40 damage. The Retain of Reap really helps this go a long way. And, if Lethality + Swift draws Reap, and I don't have enough energy to play it, I can play it next turn. Died to Doormaker on floor 48. Fun combo though.

But fully agree, card was ridiculous. Got it as necrobinder and best the third act. Haven't had luck getting past the 2nd as necrobinder without it. (Admittedly, those were silly and high runs but still...!)

Retain is such a difference maker. One of the best modifiers out there.

Yeah Reap is a huge common that synergizes with Lethality extremely well!
