This is still just a chess game. No jumpscares, creepy faces, dark imagery, people getting hurt in horrific ways, people having their brains turned against them, or other scary and unpleasant things. The only mind games present are about beating your opponent in chess. But it's tagged Psychological Horror because it's (presumably, I have not actually played it) mind-bendy. Maybe hard to wrap your brain around, probably hard to get really fluent with. (And even if it's not actually that hard, I'm imagining most people would perceive it as such.)
