Well, I (straight guy) learned a thing or two. Like the one guy said near the end of the article, "if shit happens it happens, that's what that hole's made for." It's the same with straight couples with anal, though, with the gay couple, anal is really the only avenue, it's not like you pick one or the other. Still, had no idea about the prep (outside of foreplay).

We're all human, and just like they say gay rights or trans rights are human rights, gay experiences and trans experiences are human experiences. We don't know if we don't ask, and if we don't know, if someone we love comes out to us, we're less equipped to counsel them per their needs. So I think it should be fine to ask and discuss and even laugh a little. We all wanna be happy, we all wanna have a little fun in the sheets (and the bathroom, and the couch, and the patio...), and we all deserve respect.
