#SignalGroup for preserving the #Myrient #ROM database using #BitTorrentMyrient is a huge collection of retro games and a very nice project. But as they are based on centralized cloud storage, the immense costs were not sustainable. By building a community of people who seed the files for free, the project can stay alive!signal.group/#CjQKIFzvNuwfFh0pOriginal Website: myrient.erista.meArchive Websites:myrient.org#SignalGroups #Torrents #RetroGaming #Archival @retrogaming@lemmy.world @retrocomputing @retrogaming@lemmy.ml @retro @emulation @retropirates |

Do we really need a signal group for this? Would much rather have the torrents be uploaded to a public tracker |

Rather use a messenger that didn't require my phone number like xmpp. |
