Was going to do the gym today but after doing some reading will wait until tomorrow.

Don't want to end up back in the hospital.

Was looking forward to it though :(

I wonder how this is going to work with ticket inspectors... https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03-14/ticketless-travel-trial-set-to-start-in-victoria/106451108 are they going to ask you to log into your online banking to show the transaction? Because fuck that.

True! I should be there by 6:30pm
Looking forward to it!

I think they have the ability to check using their own system if your payment method has an active fare against it. The system has to hold the info open so you can tap off again to finalise the actual amount you are paying.

Mad dash to get things ready for today.

Probbably leaning towards 5pm as I'm a bit disorganised.

There'll be little bits of colour (tape) to follow. Just head around the side no need for the front door :)

Ahh that makes sense

Thank you muchly

I’m off to the markets.

Then a swim.

Then footy

there is already phone tap payment on android systems, just not on apple

you can still use a ticket if you wish ( I do and I don't register the ticket either , I do pay by card but if I wanted to be completely anon I could pay by cash )

Mobile tickets just create a virtual Myki, so it's identical.

Contactless payments (e.g. credit and bank cards) should work the same way as TfL (and much of the rest of the world). The payment card card has no ability to store trip information, so instead the ticket system records your tap on/off events. At some predetermined frequency (usually overnight), it will then calculate the appropriate fares to charge.

Probably due to practicality reasons, the portable ticket inspection devices usually don't have live access to the data. Instead,
they just record that your card was inspected, and if the overnight processing determines you didn't touch on, it flags you for fare evasion and bills the card the fine.

Currently competing w/ the tradies next door.

It's a no go for me tonight guys. I just jogged for 5 secs to cross the road and my chest got tight.

Feeling wrecked now.

Fucking sucks, and I hope you all have a good night ❤️

Y'all are bitches lol

I'm about 30 mins away

Nugguh I almost died lol

I really don't appreciate that while I'm already down.

Nah fair enough it was meant to be lighthearted my apologies!!

You're stronger than that mate

B-but you're here

Went to a Chery dealer today and damn those cars are cheap. Not in a bad way, more in a 'how do they pack all this in at that price?' Cheap.

They must be moving too, the sales people weren't pushy at all and were fine with us just leaving. I've heard stories of dealers in the US having rules no one leaves the lot without buying a car

I've driven a GWM and Haval recently. They're good. Like when Kia and Hyundai lifted their game.

I have a feeling our next car is gonna be a Chinese one

I went with a mate to test drive a VW years ago and the salesman said to watch out for psychoists (cyclists) on that fairfield/alphington bridge before the upgrade. My mate told him I was a cyclist and we walked.

Back home from BR's DT shindig. Was an excellent evening, so lovely to put faces to names! Looking forward to more!

Lovely to meet you too 😊 on my way home now

Likewise omg it was great!!! Can't wait to see your faces again!!

Wheeee! Even if we didn't Wii 😜

Next time. Along with a Napal trip slideshow!
