Quiet and unassuming aren’t the adjectives that come to mind when watching Jordyn Bugg and Maddie Dahlien play.

They were highly touted and shook the NWSL during their first season together for the Reign last year. Bugg, a 19-year-old defender, had a booming breakthrough season capped with a 35-yard score that was a FIFA Marta Award finalist for best goal in all of women’s soccer last year. Dahlien, a 21-year-old forward, finished her rookie season with four game-winning goals and four assists for the Reign.
