Opening those bags is easy if you just touch the damp shelves that are constantly getting sprayed with mist first. Damp fingers have no problem getting traction on the plastic.

I remember my grandma when I was young held the bag with both hands and blew into the top. It made an opening and then she was able to flap it open like normal
