Not that I want them to obviously, because I don't agree with them, but if you wanted an example of a large number of immigrants coming in and displacing the locals... this is probably the best possible example in modern history (since the native Americans obviously).

It's probably the only real example too. A leftist can give a counter-argument by explaining why Zionism and settler-colonialism is different than just moving to a country, but I don't think your average liberal could without having to seriously reconsider their views on Israel.
