Google is an incredibly shitty company. Google running the software on the head units would still be a better situation than what the manufacturers currently do. My 2019 default head unit is already end of life / completely lost software support. |

I guess google needs the community to do the heavy lifting of developing this for them. Then, when it's ready enough, they'll pull the rug off. Don't believe me? Look into the current state of Google's Android. |
