The Kansas City Current had a big loss, while the Denver Summit took home a huge win.

Five seems high, but “where are the goals going to come from” was the biggest question, and hanging three on the Current does seem like a plausible answer:

5} Seattle Reign (+4) | Result: 3-0 win against Kansas City Current

The Reign pulled off a huge win against last year’s Shield winners, proving anything can happen in the NWSL. The 3-0 win came with goals from Angharad James, Madison Mercado, and Brittany Ratcliffe. Two wins and a loss is a strong start to the season for the Reign.
