AI used in warfare needs a strong ethical framework

Who's going to coerce all the companies putting AI into weapons into obeying that framework??

Nobody.

"bandaids on broken-bones"..

It's becoming obvious that social-pressure/political-will is powerless to limit evil's growing total-dominion on our world..

So, either humankind find some "magical" upright-spine, either in itself or in some .. elf, or something .. XOR The Great Filter's .. already lost.

& only the appearances of humankind's final epitaph are to be decided, this century, in that case.

Social-pressure/political-will failed to control the game, & evil's "metastasized", throughout all industries, throughout all lobbies, throughout all governments, throughout all NGO-domains

( don't talk to me about any "charity" which pays their executives many many times what cost-of-living justifies: that the operation does some charity, while enforcing that donations go to the wallowing-wealth of their executives .. that isn't what a charity operation is: that's what a "charity" operation is. )..

Natural Selection may convince some of the fact, but ideological-ignoring seems to be stronger than will-to-live, so .. gonna watch it happen, as there's no alternative.

Stupid waste of a world..
