Well to put it in laymen’s terms, to the average American Trump may be a retard, but he still gives wedgies to the establishment dems. People seem to prefer someone being stupid rather than perceived as weak.
This is exactly it. Trump does stuff. All kinds of absolutely awful stuff. But you can't deny that he is taking action on so many fronts, completely reshaping every aspect of the government, changing fundamental structure of America. Then the Democrats get in power and the fucking parliamentarian won't let them raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Joe Biden can't cut student loans by a measley 10,000 bucks. He can whine and make a public show about being mad about Bibi and say the word fuck because he's so seriously frustrated, but he won't stop setting him missiles. They can't achieve anything, ever. And everyone is tired of their bullshit excuses. I think so many people are waking up to the fact that the reason the Democrats in power provide the policy outcomes they do isn't because they're weak, it's because those are the actual policy outcomes they support (neverending war, austerity, and corporate giveaways, just done more politely and professionally than the current shitheads).
Starting to feel like the oligarchs got a bit too comfortable with not giving us anything and the reckoning could be coming. Dems have given so little that they don’t even seem like a better option than current full retard Trump. Like people finally getting fed up enough to pushback hard and wake up to the class war via Republicans being greedy as hell seems way more likely than pushing Dems left.
Still seeing a lot of no kings idiots and Dem diehards but I’m also seeing a lot of hate towards Billionaires and the rich. Hopefully with the past 10 years or so of horrible extreme idpol once this heats up they won’t have that trump card to cool it down like occupy wallstreet.
