Doug Ross is such an egotistical turd. He tries to hide his self-centeredness behind a concern for his patients, but constantly puts the hospital and his patients at risk.

His character got quite a bit more likeable during S02-S04, but then he turned into a loose cannon again this season. I'm only 13 episodes in, but I have the feeling he's gonna break Carol's heart again, and for that I WOULD NOT FORGIVE HIM.
