I love the idea, and I love that it uses hand drawn art and period correct instrumentation. That being said, my first thought when I saw the art was "man, I really underrated how good Pentiment's art was". This is doing the same thing only more cluttered and busy, which might well be more authentic maybe but doesn't look as good to me.

Also the UI looks very 90s to me (and not in a good way) and makes me further hesitate. Might be a deep sale purchase for me maybe, unless it gets absolutely rave reviews.

I like the art style and the attempt to mimic medieval art styles, but I find the cell shaded faces to be distracting and annoying. Particularly when I open the screenshots almost full screen.

It's a worthy attempt at something different though, both in art style and how the medieval tapestry format has been transformed into the baseline gameplay area/map.

Yeah the faces don't look great for sure. I am very interested in the concept but between the cluttered look and the ugly and clunky looking UI I am afraid I'll have less fun than I would like. Maybe I'd get used to it though. It is the type of endeavour I would like to support.
