Giver-of-all-life/G-D being "honored" through blood-sacrifice.. no, I don't buy it, at all.

Maybe someday humankind will accept that Ahimsa honors giver-of-all-life better than blood-sacrifice does, but apparently that won't be for .. some decades?

( Ahimsa is non-harming, cherishing-of-others'-lives.

When the exorcist root-guru of the Christians threw-out, but didn't execute, demons, in the Christian bible, he was displaying a variant of it.

His whole "turn the other cheek" was part of it, too.

His tossing a .. I dunno, .. a cesspit of demons, if that's the right plurality for their-kind, from 1 guy into a herd of swine .. that seems to be rather Jewish in anti-swinery prejudice, because their imminent-deaths would have been predictable, to him..

so he seems leaning that way but not as hard-line as the Jains, with their cloth-over-face to prevent accidentally inhaling/harming any insect.. )
