ZacPreece_CIG responded to a question on Spectrum about getting LAMP for Helmet Visors:

Intention is to get them on visors eventually but it was decided to focus on cockpit LAMP first, taking the scope shader and making it work for ships.

Main reason was we didn't want people having to wear certain FPS helmets to get LAMP for their ships as well as having things like MFDs be blown out and various other tidbits.

Intention is down the line to get a visor option

Night vision on helmet

What about night vision for DRAKE DRAGONFLY ?
What about night vision for TUMBRIL CYCLONE ?
What about night vision for battle turrets ?
What about night vision on ARGO MOLE mining turrets ?
What about night vision for FPS combat ?

It would be so much simplier to have night vision implemented on all helmet... one dev, all use cases covered.
