As a trans woman, I appreciate the work of Jesse Singal.
Mr. Singal supports trans rights, he was always looking out for trans people when he talked about the social contagion.
He always has made his arguments as softly & respectfully as possible. He has always emphasized his support of trans rights & trans people.
The way he has been treated is not appropriate. This is a man who embraces discourse & civility, but was treated as a bigot who hates trans people.
If trans activists were willing to have a conversation with Mr. Singal 8 years ago, things would be a lot different today.
The right-wing wasn't focused on trans issues 8 years ago. If trans activists moderated back then, it would have made a world of difference.
