I honestly think it's fantasy. "Black women united on boycotting a retail chain for it's harm to the world." As women on all those sleazy dating advice subs love to say "If you broke just say that."

As a black person I have literally never heard another black person mention boycotting Target. I will admit that I have heard two white gay guys talk about it.

People are poorer than ever. Target is more expensive than ever.

When are we ever going to talk about the real problem instead of talking about if they have rainbows or pronouns and safe space meetings? Dawg why they selling 12oz soda for 4 dollars?!

Boycotting the entire housing industry

I tend to pick my battles. People use the whole "no ethical consumption under capitalism" but that's cope at a certain point. I don't buy from the worst offenders and try to buy local and still have a cushy life.
