I think Tod Browning saw this movie and took it personal

woah... I never heard of them before, on a quick skim looks interesting, I gotta do a close reading later: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tod_Browning

howcome you know so much about this? are you a film scholar or something?

nah, i'm just a nerd.

Browning is one of the OGs and the trailblazer of the more cerebral directing style in the american cinema. I'd recommend to check out a book called Dark Carnival. It's about Browning and his life. Quite a fascinating tale

i’m just a nerd.

Truly, the highest qualification and a position of pride. I aspire to that but I'm still just a dork.

Dark Carnival

Woah! that's a central concept in the mythology of Insane Clown Posse! I gotta find out more about that. Actually I'll probably take a look at some of those movies first.

Ah maaaan! ICP is something i find so fascinating and yet i never really dug into it. I guess this is the sign to actually do it!
