Charlie Brown and Snoopy kneel on the ground, waiting to race. Patty says, "Remember now...to the end of the block and back...get ready, get set..."

She yells, "GO!", and they take off.

As he runs to the end of the block, Charlie Brown exclaims as he realizes that Snoopy is already on his way back to the finish line.

He stops and says to the reader, "I admit defeat..."

So wait? The colorized one also has a new panel that wasn’t in the original?

I think it might be a bug in the @m_f@discuss.online comic posting bot. A similar thing happened on April 11th. The strips don't make much sense without the punchline.

Yeah sorry about that, will fix that and update the posts. It's happening because I have an ImageMagick command that splits the comics up into panes and rearranges them into the 2x2 grid, but the poor quality on some of the older scans break it in weird ways.

Sorry about the wait, got around to updating this so that it handles the originals better. Edited the post to add it, in addition to the borked one, just for comparison's sake
