Eh, tbh i'm pretty weirded out by most of the anime culture/fandom as well. I pretty much blocked anything anime on the fediverse because i dont want to see it. But the anubis girl didnt even register as anime for me. Even if it did it would be 5 seconds to block that image with ublock.

Anyway, i hope this will be the last time i post about how i dont like certain aspects of anime because nobody gives a shit.

PS: Did version 1.23.1 really change the Canadian flag with a 'CA'... I have found screenshots of versions older than that that did display the flag as do newer ones. So I'm really asking myself if that was an intentional edit to get away with the "nurse" argument.

it's probably an emoji loading failure, that's the "default" for flag when the correct image is not found (if it was a UK flag it would say GB)

idk i think its pretty out of place and gets kind of obnoxious seeing specifically anime furry adjacent stuff all the time. If its your thing, its really your thing, if its not your thing its mildly annoying/occasionally weird. Theres some communities where if youre an outsider its better not to engage with the fandom but thats hard when its your job to interact with these people all day.

ok tangent: i used to think furries are mostly innocent nice nerds, but then i found out how the vast majority are into it as a kink or some kind of nasty besti*lity cartoon fetish nasty nasty.
