The Thorns payed $15,000 to Gotham in a trade for an international roster spot.

Sounds like they’ve got a move in process:

With this trade, Portland has eight international roster slots, with seven out of them occupied by Australian goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold, Danish defender Isabella Obaze, German defender Marie Müller, Canadian midfielder Jessie Fleming, Norwegian midfielder Cassandra Bogere, Canadian forward Mimi Alidou and French forward Julie Dufour. Regarding Dufour, we have to remember she’s on the season-ending injury list, and she will occupy her spot once she returns.
