The reason why there is lot of conflicts in the middle east is because it is a very powerful region for empires to control trades routes and blocking resources from the enemies. Not to mention the worst atrocities happened in Europe and the americas from brutal colonization to translantic slavery, to world war 1 and 2 to the holocaust. I still don't believe any region is naturally more violent than another
