My father is an functional alcoholic with memory, cognition and anger management issues and yet he still needs beer. If he was an single/divorced dad then he would be drinking alcohol nonstop because his wife isn't there to stop him.

Its tastes bad. Only mixed with other things does it improve but then like its super expensive.
