are there people out there paying full price for a 13 year old game with better textures?

They really gotta park this one, or its curtains for quite a few Ubisoft satelite studios.

For me, ray traced lighting might actually make this look worse than the original on anything but higher end / recent hardware.

Been playing Crimson Desert and the lighting artifacts in RTGI are very distracting, really makes me wish for a traditional lighting option.

Odyssey is the best

$40. No microtransactions, denuvo or forced ubisoft launcher and I'd buy this. I have a feeling it will have all of the above and still be overpriced for a remaster.

It gets better if it somehow kills access for people being able to play their original copies.

Pre-Unity, they were all pretty good, Valhalla although controversial was pretty nice too but I really wish they didn't make it a RPG. Mirage though, shows that they can still make a really good classic AC game if they really wanted to.

It genuinely looks like it's a full remake with plenty of QOL features, new quest lines and improved gameplay. It remains to be seen if these non-graphical changes and improvements are as good as they seem and if it is worth it though. I get there's the whole ubi bad circle jerk here but at least play with the actual facts.

$90 for a remaster is peak megacorp bullshit. They're not even double dipping here, look at that multi edition bullshit, quadruple dipping. Fucking boycott this shit, don't fucking fall for it.

Personally brotherhood was my favorite. Loved buying shops an all the other fun little features it had. Then they got rid of everything that made Brotherhood fun.

Gotthe middle east one for 15 euro after release.
