I love Voyager already, but something really hit me today to where I want to give you a shout out.

I usually browse all posts, but that can be a downer. I decided to subscribe to some less consistently depressing communities so I can better filter out the doom and gloom for my bad days. I got ready to start combing for communities, but then saw the starter packs. So much of the work had already been done for me. I saved time and was introduced to some communities I may not have found otherwise.

Thanks!

Starter packs? Thanks for letting me know to look for them!

My only gripe is you can’t view what’s in the starter packs without subscribing to them. But yeah I love seeing that feature, definitely helps new users get started with Lemmy/Piefed.

Can we suggest any additional communities for the memes and humor category? I'd like to nominate !buyselltrade@lemmy.sdf.org

Looks like you can see five of the communities, but yeah, being able to see a full list would be nice.

Didn’t know about this feature. Very cool for anyone new who hasn’t curated communities yet!

I like this comm! It’s great for laughs. Upvote for vis :D

It should be a full list and we should be allowed to manually subscribe to individual entries of that list (right from the list) instead of the whole package.

https://lemmy.sdf.org seems to be down since 7th April, hope it comes back.

Communities page, click the three dots menu button.
