TBH they probably got it stolen or did something stupid with contracts. Or leveraged it, or bought and sold a lot. Or gave it to some pyramid scheme. Who knows?

That’s the thing with Etherium. Its security basically relies on the user being a digital lawyer, and no one is coming to help if something goes wrong. Or even if you do everything right, and get hacked anyway.

Afaik It is down since 2021 . And many people bought it then expecting its price will grow significantly . So I assume many people lost their money on this

you don't even need to go that far, you can just do the classic buy high sell low, there's always ups and downs
