I journal, every once in a while, in a cheap notebook I have. I write with my Pilot G-Tec-C4, in black.

I love it!

Journaling does get my hand cramping up a bit, but it's great to think things over on a page. I guess it forces me to really think about what I'm writing, and hence it forces me to analyse my feelings and thoughts more thoroughly and profoundly than I otherwise might've done.

I do also love the look and feel of a tightly packed journal. My handwriting is small and neat, and I write in cursive. The pages are packed with thin black lines curving and slithering on the the white background... It gives a certain weird weight to the text, I think. It just looks awesome. I usually title my entries with a one-word topic, and sometimes a subtitle. Each entry is a single paragraph, though my paragraphs can get quite long... Today, I wrote about a page and a half (A5) about writing a manifesto. In the end, I think I honed my philosophy a little bit, and I'm a little more sure of myself.

About that, actually: I think I'm really grabbing onto my philosophy quite a bit. I feel like it grounds me. Having some principles, some guiding ideas that nudge my thoughts and actions in the right direction. It's nice. It's comforting. I guess that's like religion?

Anyway, I wore jeans, today. Tomorrow is a holiday, so I'm back in the other city with my brother for the long weekend.
