Why do I have to download an update everytime I turn it on just to use it. As soon as I need another one I'm going back to Prusa. |

Currently I can't print a simple thing because of "Synchronizing device information timed out". I updated everything you jizzmonkeys. Don't buy a Bambu if you can help it. |

Prusa is the best but I'm loving my Snapmaker U1. 4 tool heads is better than 4 INDX and it's completely open source. It also has cloud access if you want the convenience of remote access without setting it up yourself. |

Not trying to defend Bambu, but the updates on my A1 Mini never take more than two minutes and typically only happen infrequently. The new Bambu Studio update deleting all my local print settings is a bit more upsetting to me. |

Thanks for the recommendation. As soon as I move back to California I am replacing my Bambu and I will check them out. |

Today i had to update studio and still troubleshoot by logging off and re-pairing my printer. In the time it took to figure it out my old prusa could have completed the print. Bambu is creating problems that never used to exist before. At least with hardware issues you can diagnose and fix but software you are at the mercy of the company. |

My Prusa i3 MK3S is fitted with a Raspberry Pi Zero W that gives it PrusaLink (local remote control) and PrusaConnect (cloud access). It works pretty well. I don't have experience with what other brands offer though, can't compare. |

I am upset at the cannibalizing of Open-source efforts they do. One example: "Thank you Prusa for developing Slic3r this farπ. We take it from here and make the project files incompatible π" -Bambu labs |
