James Van Der Beek, the actor who endeared himself to a generation of television viewers as the star of the drama series “Dawson’s Creek,” died Wednesday.

He was 48.

“He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace,” Kimberly Van Der Beek, his wife, said on Instagram. “There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time. Those days will come.”

“For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend,” she added.

God fuck cancer, and duck colon cancer. Men, go in and get your screenings. Colon cancer is more and more prevalent now. They lowered the age to 40 to start getting regular screenings.

The process sucks, but please just go do it.

Dude I'm in America. I've asked for an early screening due to family history, but insurance won't cover it and I don't have $10k to blow

Government programs have the same limitations when the people don't make it clear that they'll respond to penny stealing social cruelty with violence.
