Can’t complain anywhere about how I don’t want to work 40hrs a week for the next 50 yrs just for people to say “suck it up” or “get a better job” or “why don’t you just quit”. Newsflash asshole it’s going to be like this no matter where I work! And using up my savings to be unemployed for who knows how long isn’t viable in this or any other economy!

When I ask them what they’d do with their free time if they could retire tomorrow, they get a glimmer in their eyes when they talk about pursuing a passion or just getting some rest and relaxation. But then they shut down again and say “life isn’t fair” or whatever bullshit. Maybe it’s a self-defense mechanism that prevents them from confronting the existential angst that plagues me every day about how my life is going to play out.

I hate it here man. My parents gave birth to me without my permission and now I have to keep going because of them.
