I wouldn't know the first thing about taking over a community. Are you sure they're gone and not just not posting any more?

I've soured on /r/tampa lately and would happily work to run this ship if /u/spicyjimmy87762 is actually gone.

I think there is a community to ask for the abandoned ones and yeah I've been here handling Cocktails since that mod disappeared, and the hair one, it has been a joy compared to moderating on Reddit- literally less than ONE mod action per year. This one is so dead but still seems better to have someone who can take down posts, etc, and the spicyjimmy user hasn't posted in years. I can help but don't want to be a main mod of another community.

If you walk me through the process of how to take it over, and spicyjimmy87762 does not protest due to disinterest or disconnect, I'm happy to take the #1 slot. I'd definitely grow this place - especially if you're willing to help.
