Today, I cleaned out an old pen, so I'm considering it a new pen. I might've written about it before, but a friend gifted me a Parker "51" a while back, and I finally got around to, well, putting it in a cup of warm water to clean it out. It worked! It writes perfectly. It's really nice. I like fountain pens, conceptually, but I'd never actually tried one before. I wonder if they're all like that... I'll say, and maybe it's because of the ink, but it feels kind of wet. It writes wet. Wetter than ballpoint pens, anyway. I wore my anthracite suit, today. |
