This barely relates to the article and the obvious problem.

Sure, they provided a generic pilot image that may have been ai generated and some random small plane. But doing so communicates stereotypes and does not communicate anything of value. Hence they shouldn't have used this opportunity to push their stereotypes.

Also, this is a horror story and I would have rather not read it. But that's another issue. And I didn't notice the gender in writing but only skimmed the tweet. Hence harm was done. This isnt a story about empowerment after all but considers a pilot who is a woman a regular and usual occurrence. Or at least I did while reading.

Might have also been an image to portrait the dip shit, but trusting flight instructor. They do have a look of confidence in the situation and I cannot imagine a being a confident student in this situation. But fuck that. They didn't mean that. And doing such an act is bad. Don't glorify them.

There are no less than 5 references to her gender in the first tweet. Not disagreeing with you, but it's difficult to miss that the pilot was a woman.

Their pronouns and placed at expected locations in the sentence. Hence I didn't read them. I am a weird one when it comes to that. You really need to point that out explicitly if you want me to get that.

Edit: also paying attention to tbe gender of pronouns in German is somewhat pointless since words can influence the Grammatic gender anyway. There is no they them after all.
