I would not recommend doing abstract art. It can be extremely satisfying to create new and interesting things seemingly out of nothing, but most people want to see depictions from the recognizable world. Because of this, it's tough to sell and if no one wants to buy what you make, the stuff just accumulates and after a while, your unsold artworks can feel like a weight that you're carrying.

There are budget leagues where they cap the value of the deck at like $70 or $100 or whatever, to keep it fair and fun for everybody without being pay to win.

Also if you find a good game shop with casual players, literally no one is bringing a thousand dollar deck to play with, and if someone does that then basically no one will play with that person.

A decent precon deck can cost like $50 and that's all you need to have fun playing casually like that.

For this series, yes, but in general compared to my friends, familiy, and coworkers, I do not consider reading a hobby or do it very often. So my idea of what would be a well-developed character be limited/skewed in comparison to those who read regularly.

Yes most alternatives probably /could/ work but I don't want to become the tech support for it and I also don't want to give the trial by fire method.
