I also try to. But those shirts are 100% cotton and a fair bit thicker than what you get from other brands. They remind of pre-enshittified Carhartt shirts. They're kinda hard to pass up over something you can cut off in a minute or two.

Bronson Mfg has some good solid shirts that are 100% cotton.

it aint about showing "them" its about what i choose to show on my body, or on my stuff. i think branding is fucking ugly and go way out of my way to avoid brands who make their branding visible. if youre payomg me, ie work, or youve specifically treated me well, or i strongly agree with you, eg bands or charities (i tagged my bike with my bike shop's sticker and give them word of mouth recs as often as i can) thats one thing. but im not a fuckin billboard.

i think its the same mentality that motivates my ad aversion. ive gone way further out of my way than anyone in my life to avoid being advertised at.

You go way out of your way to avoid brands who make their branding visible, so you buy brands who make their branding visible, then strike out the branding of the brand and make a post about it on the internet where you can still see the branding.

Okay buddy.

EDIT: My bad, you're not OP. But my point still holds.

Used to do that with jeans in high school, but haven't did it to anything since (although, I rarely get anything that is blatantly branded anymore)

I do this to Carhartt pocket tees, they are well made but the logo makes me think of the chuds who wear it as a fashion brand and I can't allow myself to be associated with that.

Did you read the fine print on your purchase contract? They're entitled to that advertising space. They are now legally permitted to tattoo their logo on your forehead.

checkout shirtspace, or any site that lets you order shirts to print on. They're usually a few dollars each and you can get them in bulk in different colors. Different fabrics, styles, weights, etc. Literally shopping for tshirts by specs instead of look.

I honestly can’t believe it’s legal. It would be like if Target opened up all your kids toys and put Target logos on the toy inside. The car comes wrapped with plastic and protective things all over them. They literally remove that and stick their own fucking logo on them.

You can just tell the dealer not to put anything on the car. No stickers, no plate frames... You have the right to say "no".

It's completely legal because the dealership owns the car. Same with Target, they could do that if they wanted to.

The amount of dealership license plate frames I see on cars blows my mind. I could see someone not wanting to put forth the effort in properly removing the decals, for fear of damaging their pant job, but the plate frame is a no-brainer.

I wish I was, then I could buy more of their shirts. You want to hear about other stuff I'm a shill for? Too bad if you don't. If you haven't already invest in a bidet, they're like $30 and are a massive game changer in b-hole cleaning.

Sometimes they're sneaky and hide the branding. Like I bought some socks and the logo was not visible without opening the package.

(so I gave them to my cousin, he was like: whatever, free socks.)

Coming soon to a dystopia near you: You don't own the product, you're only renting it, and by removing the branding you're breaking the terms of rental.

And they have a right to tell you "sure thing, we'll get that removed" and conveniently leave it out of the contract and tell you "oh, sorry, remove it yourself."

And then you leave them a bad review and it stays there for a week and the owner replies saying they're sowwwy and then Google removes your review.

Some shoes like the air force type shoes when it's the same colour feel more subtle because it only looks like a logo if you recognise it. But most nike stuff it just doesn't incorporate well at all
