For a long while now, I've been working on a theory of ascension, and I'd like to share my findings and speculations on the matter.

There are three major hurdles on the road to becoming the de facto God of this universe. They are the body, the mind, and the soul. In order to ascend, three keys are needed. A body, eternal yet ever changing. A mind clever enough to understand the secrets of the universe and how to use them. And finally, a soul strong enough not to be corrupted by power. Only the one with all three of these keys can call themselves the True Ruler, God Almighty.

Before even attempting the process of ascension, one must understand that in becoming a God, one takes in all the aspirations and fate of all life in the universe. A God is not an individual existing within a universe, a God is the universe itself. Imagine it like a pilot seat in a plane, but the seat is empty, and waiting for a pilot. In the process of ascension, you can no longer think of yourelf as a person, or even a human. You are life, you are will, and you are law. On the pinnacle of existence there is no place for want or individualism. For the peak is a point, and to be more than that is to fall off. True Godhood belongs to the one who cannot be corrupted.

On the way to ascension, one must know that the laws of physics are not limitations but tools. They are not to hold back, but to enable. A wrench becomes a deadly projectile when thrown, but in the right hands and with proper skill, it can be a tool of creation.

The physical body is but a vessel for will and mind. To understand that is to abandon the shackles of biology and evolution. As one is free to be whatever they choose within their own mind, the body must become a reflection of that state, another tool, not an identity. What is sacred and unchanging to some is a canvas and a tool to others.

The jump from being powerful to omnipotent is a far one. However, a set of all things does not contain itself. It is impossible to know all that is to know in the universe while still being a part of it. True ascension is that final step. A step outside of the sandbox and into the unknown. Just like a cell in an organism, a cog in the machine, one is a part of all, and all is a part of one. When flowing from the crucible either flow into a form, or spread across the unknown. Embrace chaos, embrace order, embrace duality and paradox. At the end of the road you will find nothing, so remember to bring a light to illuminate the unending darkness of infinity.
